This is a family Sunday favorite. I just add some croissant topping or buns for the boys and keep it light and low carb for the clean eating ladies. It tastes like a McDonald’s cheeseburger if you get the mix just right.
  • 1 lb lean organic ground grass fed beef OR organic ground turkey breast
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup organic no sugar added or sugar free ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon organic yellow mustard
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded american or cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  1. Heat oven to 375
  2. Cook beef and onion over medium heat 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Drain
  3. Stir in pickles, water, ketchup, mustard, and pepper
  4. Pour mixture into 2 qt. glass baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese
  5. Sprinkle the sesame seeds across the top
  6. Bake 25 minutes or until heated through
