Healthy Crust-Less Apple Pie

This was a single serving experiment and oh my goodness did it come out YUMMY!
  • 1 medium organic apple
  • 1/2 tbsp Almond Meal – coarsely ground
  • 1/2 tsp Ghee
  • 1/4 tsp PLUS extra for top, Cinnamon to taste
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 tbsp ground walnuts, plus 1 tsp for top
  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Peel and cut apple into small chunks
  3. Heat apple in glass bowl either in microwave or oven until soft and easy to poke with a fork
  4. In small bowl, combine almond meal, melted ghee, cinnamon, salt and walnuts
  5. Pour almond mixture over apple filling and place in oven
  6. Cook at 400 for 10 minutes or until the topping has settled into apple mix
  7. Top with additional cinnamon and walnuts
  8. Serve hot
  9. Add a scoop of So Delicious Coconut No Sugar Added ice cream for an extra treat!
