This is kind of an “inside out” version of a sandwich or a pizza crust. You can layer it with awesome veggies and good sources of fats like avocado.
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean organic ground turkey or chicken breast OR grass fed organic ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove of fresh garlic
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3/4 tsp sea or himalayan salt
- Fresh spinach (optional)
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 450
- Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl
- Press mixture until flat on either a greased cookie sheet or a large glass baking pan
- Bake at 450 for 10 minutes (after oven fully pre heated and depending how thick you are able to flatten the mix)
- Use “crust” as a base for an open faced sandwich, a pizza crust, or roll into a wrap.
