This is kind of an “inside out” version of a sandwich or a pizza crust. You can layer it with awesome veggies and good sources of fats like avocado.
  • 1 pound lean organic ground turkey or chicken breast OR grass fed organic ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove of fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp sea or himalayan salt
  • Fresh spinach (optional)
  1. Pre-heat oven to 450
  2. Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl
  3. Press mixture until flat on either a greased cookie sheet or a large glass baking pan
  4. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes (after oven fully pre heated and depending how thick you are able to flatten the mix)
  5. Use “crust” as a base for an open faced sandwich, a pizza crust, or roll into a wrap.
