Portobello Mushroom “Pizza”

Try this fantastic substitute for pizza crust and keep it low carb!
  • 1-2 Large portobello mushroom caps
  • Organic red sauce – look for simple ingredients with no added sugar
  • Nutritional yeast or fresh mozzerella cheese
  • Sauteed spinach
  • Organic chicken sausage – Bilinski’s is nitrate free, anti-biotic free, organic, and pure ingredients!
  • Other toppings: Basil, nitrate free pepperoni, peppers, onions, etc.
  1. Pre-heat oven to 350
  2. In pan, sauté portobello caps with ghee or coconut oil in skillet, pressing mushroom flat as you flip, until cooked through
  3. Slice and heat sausage in skillet
  4. Place on cookie sheet, add sauce, cheese or nutritional yeast and other toppings
  5. Cook in oven until cheese is melted or toppings are warm
  6. Enjoy!

    What a wonderful recipe! It would be really great if you can give tips as to where to purchase some of the ingredients, like Bilinski chicken sausage and Ghee (from the other recipe). Also, are all the ingredients in this recipe organic?
